Salmon is known to be great for us gals as most of us know, but it is crucial to take the extra step and buy wild-caught Salmon. If you want to read more about why just google farm raised salmon and you might be shocked, grossed out and hopefully convince you to make the right choice. With this being said, wild caught salmon from your average grocer can be very expensive! What I like to do is stock up on canned wild caught salmon. It saves tons of money, it's delicious and I still get all the fabulous beauty benefits.
Makes 8 small size burgers ( Together we usually eat 6 for diner )
12-14 OZ Canned Wild-Caught Pink Salmon
1/3 Plain Cup Greek Yogurt
1/4 cup oat flour (or gluten free flour)
1/2 Cup Whole Oats
1/4 cup chopped green onion
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup dried parsley (optional but good)
Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees F. or *you can Lightly pan fry in a skillet on the stove top; notes below*
Open cans of salmon and drain well.
Add fish to a large bowl and dump in the rest of your ingredients mix well, I use my hands.
Form 6-8 small patties and place on a well greased baking sheet.
Bake for 20-30 minutes, Flipping half way through.
**Not as healthy but you can defiantly, Pan Fry these if you want them extra crispy. Just cook on either side until cooked thorough with crispy edges.
