Chocolate Almond Butter

This recipe was inspired by my "past life" of eating Nutella. Once I started reading ingredients I understood I should seek out "healthier" chocolate spreads, then I realized I could make it sugar-free and just as delicious! In only 10 min and best of all... in my own kitchen (aka an abundance of chocolaty spread)!


- 1 Cup dry roasted Almonds (you can also use hazelnuts)

- 1/4 tsp Salt

- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

- 1 oz 100% Chocolate (Brand linked below = 2 squares)

- 2 TBL melted coconut oil

- 1/2 tsp (up to 1 tsp) Flavored Sweet-leaf Stevia Drops (chocolate or vanilla)

*depends on how sweet you like things so start with 1/2 and & more if need**

- 5-6 TBL vanilla flavored Nut Milk *added Last*


1.) In food processor Add almonds and salt blend until you reach smooth consistency close to almond butter texture.

2.) In a glass bowl melt coconut oil and chocolate together (microwaved is fine). Then once well combined, add to food processor along with the Sweetleaf drops, and vanilla extract.

3.) Once everything is fully combined, add 1 tablespoon of milk in at a time until your

*Note below*tastebuds are happy with the consistency. I usually add 6 TBL for a very creamy texture!

Transfer to a container of choice and Store in the refrigerator!

Use this on bananas, rice cakes, toast or my favorite...right off the spoon!

**NOTE** An option is to omit adding milk if you do this the nut-butter

has a Longer shelf life/you won't need refrigeration!
