Starting with Beauty favorites

If you have been hanging out here in the faithful friend community then you know, I love my healthy foods and holistic treatments but when it comes to beauty products... I’ll take what works! From my experience, just lathering in coconut oil doesn’t do much for me. However, recently I have been experimenting with some natural shampoo/conditioners to try and find a solution for my dry itchy scalp.

I decided on trying this brand by Maple Holistic after days of research and price comparison. I have used it for 4 weeks now and I have noticed a huge difference. My hair has been shiner (even others have commented) I also have found that my itchy dry scalp is gone! (I do follow the directions on the bottle of “how to wash”) if you like peppermint smell then you will Love the smell of this Winter edition!

Laura Mercier Concealer

This is by far one of the best concealers I have ever used. It is a very high coverage and has a dry consistency but I like to use a spray of rose water to losen the pigment then mix the two colors together. Creating the perfect shade for my undereye. The peach shade covers any blue colors then the yellow shade helps balance and blend into the rest of my skin. Here is a Youtube video of me using it for a natural Parisian look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkEdc2dKm3g

Physicians Formula Liquid Liner

This eyeliner claims to be an eye booster eyliner + serum it has a stiff brush tip making it very easy to achieve a thin line on your eyelid. I have found this liquid liner to dry very quickly, which helps to avoid smearing. If I put it on in the morning it last all day and I have been using this same pen for months and it is still going strong. A drugstore product worth trying! I used it in a makeup tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkEdc2dKm3g

Liquid Lipstick

I have featured this liquid lipstick from L'Oreal on my Instagram stories here and always get so much fun feedback. This is in the color Bittersweet and it seriously lasts all day! You have to apply a thin layer and let it completely dry for 2-3 min. then you’re set for the day! To remove the lipstick I have to use coconut oil to get it off and scrub! Great product for the price and I love this "90s shade" for the chilly months ahead.

Now for my foodie friends:

Natures Path Granola:

This is an affordable paleo granola that I recently found at Target of all places! Due to the fact I’m on my 3rdbag this month, it’s safe to say I am officially obsessed with it. If you’re paleo(ish) like me I recommend picking it up next time your passing through Target.
