Oilve & Dill Dip


 This has been a long time Favorite in our house and I love to make it for our appetizer table during the holidays. This is a quick and easy recipe that will leave your guest saying "Wow, that's homemade?!" It's delicious and something different to wow the crowd. Prepare your tastebuds for a FLAVOR FILLED dip!



1 can garbanzo beans (drained & well rinsed) 

3 TBL high quality Olive oil ​

10-15 Green Olives* 

*Note* you can add black ones for color but not necessary  I just recommend plain pitted olives
1/3 cup unsalted Tahini
Juice from 1 small Lemon 
2  Garlic cloves (minced)
1 or 2 tsp Dried Dill
1/2 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp salt (or more if need)

1/4 tsp black pepper 



-Put everything in a blender or food processor then blend for 15-25 seconds or until you reach a consistency you want.

*Add 1/4 or more water if you want to thin out the dip into a dressing. 

-You can top with extra olives and a light drizzle of olive oil for a pretty display!

Pair this with raw veggies like cucumber and carrots or spread on crackers. 


 I love to use any leftovers in a salad the next day. YUM!
