
The easiest cauliflower crust you will ever make.
This Recpie is:
-Dairy Free -4 ingredients -gluten free -nut free -low carb
I have been making this recipe for about 5 years now and it never fails me. It's easy to make, dairy free (aka no cheese needed) and only has a few key ingredients. I make this pizza about once a month in our home and it hits the spot every time!
This recipe makes for a single serve pizza (if you're in my home)
Ingredients:
2 Heaping Cups Cauliflower Rice (*finely "riced" *this is important read more below*)
2 Eggs
2 TBL ground flaxseed
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
-Other optional add ins: 1TBL nutritional yeast, red pepper flakes or ground parmesans cheese (if you're not allergic to cheese).
Directions:
1. Mix everything together in one bowl until Completely combined.
*I used images below to show what I mean by "finely riced" I say this from experience. When you have cauliflower bits that are too large it makes a challenge to bind well with the eggs. When you use a finer texture it provides you with a better end result**
2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and use a pan with a sheet of parchment paper.
3. Grease paper and spread mixture about 1/4-1/2 inch thick. Baking for 20-30 min. (or until edges are a little crispy). WaaLa! You're done!
Add your favorite toppings and place back into the oven under a Broil setting to melt cheese and crisp-up pepperoni. YUM! You may want to double the recipe if you're making it with a friend. Because this is a single serve recipe if you ask us!
