• Splash of unsweeted nut milk to start then keep adding until you have a consistency you like!
Add everything to blender and in a couple min. using the tamper tool or a spatual to mix things around if they get stuck. Within a few minutes or less you will have yourself a beauty bowl!
Top with granola, cacao nibs, hemp seeds, and toasted hazelnuts!
I never was one to enjoy "drinking fruit" (especially after my diagnosis). But with a smoothie, you can pack in lots of fiber and proteins and a few healthy fats and you have what I like to call a beauty bowl. With any of these recipes, you can always add more milk to make for a thinner consistency but I like to make the smoothies in a "beauty bowl" because it creates a much thicker consistency which helps slow you down during consumption (less spike for me). Plus it reminds me of frozen yogurt, what is not to love?! I like to refer to these as my #beautybowls and I will be sharing what's in my smoothie every Friday on my Instagram. The recipes will always be posted here l for those of you who like to reference back to the blog :)
