When water isn't enough

Water has always been my beverage of choice. I am lucky to say I never had to "eliminate" sodas or other sugary beverages because I have always chosen water. Yes, since I was a little girl!  Staying hydrated is important for so many reasons from your complexion, hair, hands, eyes your general outer appearance. It is also, of course, important for the inside of your body as well. Maintaining healthy digestion avoiding bloating , etc. However sometimes drinking water isn't enough, especially when you're immersed in a dry climate. The past couple of weeks I have been doing some research on how to boost my hydration other than simply sipping water. The suggestions below have helped me!

 

 Hydration Boost:

  • Including extra servings of fruits / vegetables into my day that have high water contents: 

    • Cantaloupes contain 90% water 

    • Cucumbers contain 96% water

    • Oranges contain 87% water  

    • Leafy greens contain 80-90% water

 

  • Herbal teas: Drinking herbal teas that are not filled with refined sugars, artificial flavorings or other chemicals can be just as beneficial as drinking a glass of water. 

 

  • Quality moisturizers: Listing a few of my favorite daily moisturizers down below that I have noticed help my skin stay glowy through the dry climates

 

  • And of course, keep sipping on water all day long! Incorpotating these things will give you helthier hair, glowy skin, brighter eyes, soft hands and more.
