Easy healthy Candy bar!

Behold the Easiest Candy Bar! Grab a loved one or jam out to some music solo style and gather these 5 ingredients! Using simple ingredients plus a couple hours in the freezer, you can make your own healthy candy bar.

These are made with simple ingredients that your body can recognize. When compared to the long list of processed ingredients in your average candybar your body will say "yaasss, thank you for making these!!" It's important to remember that these are still a treat, but a Much healthier option!

What are your plans for Valentines this year? We will most likely be staying in and eating a few too many of these "candy" bars.

5 Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Pure Maple syrup

  • 1 cup All Natural Peanut-Butter creamy

  • 1/8 tsp Sea Salt (if your p.b. doesn't contain salt may want more)

  • 1 1/3 cup Crushed Corn flakes (Lightly crushed)

  • 2/3-1 cup Chocolate Chips (I use vegan chocolate)

  1. Add cornflakes to ziplock bag & lightly crushrolling pin or whatever you want until measuring to 1+1/3 Cup, then Set aside.

  2. In a pot or sauce pan add maple syrup, Natural PeanutButter & salt over stove burner on medium heat. Slowly stir with a plastic spatula. Keep stirring until completely combined.

  3. Then add the crushed flakes to your sauce pan (of maple syrup, Peanut butter, salt ) and mix until well distributed.

  4. Transfer to a parchment paper lined 8x8 baking dish & pop in freezer. At least 1 hour to set!

  5. After the mix is hardened, melt your chocolate in a shallow bowl.

  6. Remove baking dish from freezer and cut into 12 bars, then coat with your melted chocolate! Place on plate and pop them in the fridge until chocolate has fully set and then they are ready to eat!

For a "less messy" situation coat your bars in sections. I store half my (cut) bars in freezer while coating only a few at a time.

I like to keep ours in freezer until ready to eat, keeps them super crunchy! ❤️

I hope you have a loving week and a healthy(ish) Valentines Day
